Dastank.com is now making original patterned Roll Bar kits for ($289 + $55 shipping and handling)
and Bikini Tops are ($199 + $25 shipping and handling) for the 1973 or 1974 VW Things.

The roll bar does fit under the convertible top.
It comes in a box 12 " x 36" x 8" United States postage grounds and weighs 40lbs. I have tried to keep the postage as low as I could. It takes 7-10 days for delivery. United States $55 and $114 to Mexico.

This is a kit in parts and is very easy to assemble. It is for looks only, but it is very sturdy. It is made from 1 1/2" galvanized steel tubing. You can paint it any color you want. Comes with everything you need for assemble.

The bikini tops are made out of heavy duty marine vinyl and UV marine threading. The front attaches to the windshield with an aluminum beaded bar clamp, much like what is used on boats for covers, tops, etc. The aluminum beaded bar clamp screws to the top front of the windshield. Comes with Industrial Velcro that wraps around the roll bar.

The convertible top will close with the metal bar on the windshield so you don't have to remove every time it's used or if you are caught in a rainstorm and need to put the top up.

We can make the top any color that is available in marine canvas. You can also paint the bar to match top or just have aluminum and you paint.
